Setup

Battery Installation & Charging

The DC710 features a convenient Type-C direct charging system. To access the charging port or install/replace batteries, gently slide the head of the flashlight to reveal the hidden Type-C port. Ensure the triple O-rings are clean and properly seated to maintain the IP68 waterproof seal. After charging, slide the head back to fully cover the port and tighten securely before any dive to prevent water ingress.

Wrist Strap Mount Attachment

The DC710 includes a WS02 wrist strap mount for hands-free operation. Attach the dive light to the bracket module using the provided screws and Allen key. Then, secure the bracket module to the soft, comfortable, and adjustable wrist strap. This allows for greater flexibility underwater, especially useful for tasks requiring both hands or for diving instructors.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The DC710 offers four brightness levels: Low (400 lumens), Medium (800 lumens), High (1700 lumens), and Turbo (3000 lumens). To activate Turbo mode, hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds. To prevent unintended operation and prolong the light's lifespan, the DC710 includes a switch locking feature. To lock the light when it is powered off, press and hold the side switch for 5 seconds. To unlock, double-click the button. The light will blink twice to indicate the status (locked or unlocked). When locked, the battery indicator glows green.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your ORCATORCH DC710. After each dive, rinse the flashlight thoroughly with fresh water, especially around the charging port and O-rings. Dry completely before storage. Periodically inspect the triple O-rings for any signs of wear, cracks, or debris. Lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease to maintain their sealing integrity. The robust aluminum alloy construction and dual-sided tempered glass are designed for harsh underwater environments, but proper care is still essential.
