3.1 Camera Components

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Physical Installation

The camera can be mounted on a ceiling or wall. Use the provided drill template and screws for secure installation.

The mounting bracket is detachable, allowing you to secure the bracket first and then attach the camera. This simplifies the installation process.

4.2 Connection Methods

Your Anpviz PT PoE Camera supports multiple connection options:

  1. Plug & Play with Anpviz H Series NVR: Connect the camera directly to an Anpviz H Series NVR PoE port for automatic detection and setup.
  2. Connect via PoE Switch: Use a PoE switch to provide both power and data connection to the camera.
  3. Powered by Power Adapter (Not included): Connect the camera to a router via an Ethernet cable and power it using a DC12V power adapter.

4.3 App Setup (Guarding Vision / Hik-Connect)

To activate and add your camera via the Guarding Vision or Hik-Connect app:

  1. Download and install the Guarding Vision or Hik-Connect APP from your app store. Register an account and log in.
  2. Click 'Add Device', select 'Online Device', and search for cameras on your local area network (LAN).
  3. When the camera is found, it may show as 'not activated'. Click 'Activate' and enter a strong password (at least 8 characters, including two of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters).
  4. Set your own encrypted verification code for the camera and click 'Next'.
  5. After successfully adding, enter the device list interface and click the camera to preview the image.

5. Operation

5.1 Pan, Tilt, and Auto-Tracking

The camera offers 3450 horizontal pan and 900 vertical tilt movement, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle remotely via the app or web interface. The human auto-tracking feature enables the camera to automatically follow detected human movement.
