5. Operating Instructions
The Viribus Electric Tricycle offers versatile riding modes to suit your preference and terrain.
5.1 Riding Modes
- Throttle Mode: Engage the throttle for full electric power, reaching a maximum speed of 15.5 mph. This mode provides effortless propulsion without pedaling.
- Pedal Assist Control (PAS): Choose from 5 levels of pedal assistance. The motor provides power as you pedal, making longer rides or inclines easier. The assistance levels adjust the power output to help you maintain your desired speed.
- Manual Control: Ride the tricycle like a traditional bike, using the 7-speed Shimano derailleur for gear changes. This mode does not engage the electric motor.

5.2 LCD Display Panel
The intuitive LCD display provides real-time information about your ride:
- Battery Meter: Always know your current charge level.
- Speedometer: Displays your current speed in MPH.
- PAS Level: Indicates the selected pedal assist level (1-5).
- Odometer: Tracks your trip's distance and total distance traveled.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Viribus Electric Tricycle.
6.1 General Care
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and components with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
- Tires: Check tire pressure regularly (refer to tire sidewall for recommended PSI). Inspect tires for wear and tear. The 1.95" wide tires are designed for durability.
- Brakes: Periodically check brake pads for wear and ensure proper braking function. Adjust as needed.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth shifting and prevent rust.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all nuts, bolts, and quick releases to ensure they are tight and secure.
6.2 Battery Care
- Charge the battery fully after each use, or at least once a month if not in use, to maintain battery health.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not completely drain the battery before recharging.
