Follow these steps for a secure installation:
- Prepare your Helmet: Carefully remove the inner padding of your helmet to access the ear pockets and the area near the chin bar.
- Install Speakers: Place the Hi-Fi 40mm speakers into the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality. Use the provided Velcro pads to secure them.
- Install Microphone:
- For full-face helmets, use the soft wire microphone. Route the wire along the helmet's interior and attach the microphone to the inside of the chin bar, ensuring it is close to your mouth.
- For open-face or modular helmets, use the boom microphone. Attach it to the side of the helmet near your mouth.
- Route Cables: Carefully tuck all speaker and microphone cables under the helmet's padding to prevent interference and ensure a neat installation. Connect the microphone to the main unit's designated port.
- Mount Main Unit (Method 1: Clip Mount):
- Attach the back clip to the edge of your helmet. Ensure it is securely fastened with the provided screws.
- Slide the main unit onto the back clip until it clicks into place.
- Mount Main Unit (Method 2: Adhesive Mount):
- Clean the desired mounting area on the side of your helmet.
- Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the back clip.
- Firmly press the adhesive mount onto the helmet surface for at least 30 seconds. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to bond before attaching the main unit.
- Slide the main unit onto the adhesive mount until it clicks into place.
