3. Product Overview

The WESECUU Solar Security Camera is a 4MP 2.5K wireless outdoor camera designed for home security. It features solar and battery power, motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio communication.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in batteries using the provided USB cable. This ensures optimal performance and battery life.

4.2 App Installation and Account Creation

1. Download the "EseeCloud" app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.

4.3 Camera Pairing with App

1. Power on the camera.
2. Open the EseeCloud app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.
4. Once connected, you can name your device and begin monitoring.

4.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location with good Wi-Fi signal and direct sunlight exposure for the solar panel.

1. Mark the drilling spots using the mounting bracket as a template.
2. Drill holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
3. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
4. Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle for optimal viewing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Monitoring

Open the EseeCloud app and select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed. You can view the area covered by the camera in real-time.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera utilizes AI technology to detect human motion. When motion is detected, the camera will:

• Send an instant notification to your EseeCloud app.
• Trigger the floodlight (at night) to deter intruders.
• Record video footage of the event.

You can customize motion detection zones and sensitivity settings within the app.

5.3 Night Vision Modes

The camera supports both color night vision and infrared night vision. The floodlight will activate automatically when human motion is detected in low-light conditions, providing color footage.

5.4 Two-Way Audio

Use the two-way audio feature to communicate with individuals near the camera. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak, and listen through the camera's speaker.

5.5 Video Playback and Sharing

Access recorded events via the "Events" or "Playback" sections in the EseeCloud app. You can review footage stored on the SD card or cloud. The app also allows for easy sharing of recordings with family members by scanning a QR code.

6. Storage Options

The WESECUU Solar Security Camera offers two storage methods for recorded video footage:

• TF Card Storage: The camera supports a TF (Micro SD) card up to 128GB (not included). Insert the card into the designated slot on the camera.
• Cloud Storage: Optional cloud storage services are available through the EseeCloud app. Refer to the app for subscription details and pricing.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality and efficient solar charging.
• Weather Resistance: The camera has an IP67 rating, making it waterproof and suitable for outdoor use in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F).
• Battery Management: Ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight. If the camera is in a low-light area or during prolonged cloudy periods, occasional USB charging may be required to maintain battery levels.

8. Troubleshooting

• Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4Ghz. Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Restart your router and the camera.
• Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view. Check your internet connection speed.
• Battery not charging: Ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight for several hours daily. Check the connection between the solar panel and the camera. Fully charge the camera via USB if needed.
• No motion alerts: Verify motion detection is enabled in the EseeCloud app. Adjust sensitivity settings and detection zones. Ensure app notifications are enabled on your smartphone.
• Two-way audio issues: Check microphone and speaker settings in the app. Ensure your phone's volume is up.
