3. Initial Setup

3.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

1. Connect the Charging Cable: Use the provided Type-C charging cable to connect the charging case to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
2. Monitor Charging: The LED digital display on the charging case will show the battery percentage. The earbuds will also show their charging status when placed inside the case.
3. Full Charge: Allow approximately 1.5 hours for a full charge of the earbuds. The case will take longer to fully charge.

Note: For optimal battery life, fully charge the earbuds and case before first use.

3.2 Pairing with a Device

1. Activate Pairing Mode: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by flashing LED lights on the earbuds.
2. Enable Bluetooth: On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
3. Select Device: In the list of available Bluetooth devices, select "EDYELL V5" (or similar name).
4. Confirm Connection: Once connected, the earbud LED lights will stop flashing, and your device will confirm the connection.

Note: The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when taken out of the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Wearing the Earbuds

1. Choose Ear Tips: Select the ear tips that provide the most comfortable and secure fit for your ears.
2. Position Earhooks: Place the earbud into your ear canal and gently hook the earhook over the top of your ear.
3. Adjust for Comfort: Adjust the earbud and earhook until it feels snug and stable.

4.2 Touch Controls

The EDYELL V5 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on the outer surface of each earbud. Refer to the diagram below for specific functions:

• Play/Pause: Double-tap either earbud.
• Next Track: Triple-tap the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Triple-tap the left earbud.
• Answer Call: Single-tap either earbud.
• Reject/End Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
• Volume Up: Single-tap the right earbud.
• Volume Down: Single-tap the left earbud.
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Press and hold either earbud for 3 seconds.

4.3 Single and Dual Earbud Mode

The EDYELL V5 earbuds support both single and dual earbud usage. You can use either earbud independently for calls or music, or both together for a stereo experience.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Water Resistance: The earbuds are IPX5 waterproof, meaning they can withstand sweat and light splashes. Do not submerge them in water or expose them to high-pressure water jets. Ensure they are dry before placing them back in the charging case.
• Storage: Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Avoid Drops: While durable, avoid dropping the earbuds or case to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Earbuds Not Pairing

• Ensure both earbuds are charged.
• Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
• Place both earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open the lid to re-enter pairing mode.
• If previously paired, try "forgetting" the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.

6.2 No Sound or Low Volume

• Check the volume levels on both your device and the earbuds.
• Ensure the earbuds are properly connected to your device.
• Clean any debris from the earbud speaker mesh.
