3. Installation Guide

Follow these steps for a quick and easy installation. No plumber is typically required.

1. Prepare the Toilet: Turn off the water supply to your toilet and flush to empty the tank. Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the toilet tank.
2. Install T-Adapter: Connect the provided T-adapter to the toilet tank's water inlet. Reconnect the toilet's water supply hose to the T-adapter.
3. Connect Bidet Water Hose: Attach the bidet's water hose to the T-adapter. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
4. Remove Old Seat: Remove your existing toilet seat by unscrewing the mounting bolts.
5. Install Mounting Plate: Place the mounting plate onto the toilet bowl, aligning the holes with the toilet's mounting holes. Insert the provided bolts and tighten them to secure the plate.
6. Attach Bidet Seat: Slide the KERDE Electric Toilet Seat onto the mounting plate until it clicks into place.
7. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V electrical outlet.
8. Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn on the water supply to the toilet. Check for any leaks.
9. Test Functionality: Once installed, test all functions as described in the Operating Instructions section.

4. Operating Instructions

The KERDE Electric Toilet Seat is operated via a wireless remote control. Familiarize yourself with the key functions:

• Automatic: One-button operation for a complete wash and dry cycle.
• Hip Wash: Activates the spray boom for rear cleansing with warm water. The nozzle moves back and forth for thorough cleaning.
• Wash Woman (Female Wash): Provides a soft, warm water spray for front cleansing. The nozzle retracts after use.
• Stop/Flush: Stops any active cleansing or drying function.
• Dry: Initiates warm air drying.
• Kids: A gentle wash and dry cycle suitable for children.
• Water Temp: Adjusts the temperature of the wash water (cold, warm, hot).
• Dry Temp: Adjusts the temperature of the warm air dryer.
• Seat Temp: Adjusts the temperature of the heated seat (4 levels).
• Water Potential (Cleansing Intensity): Adjusts the water pressure/intensity of the cleansing spray (4 levels).
• Nozzle Position: Adjusts the front and back position of the spray nozzle.
• Lighting: Controls the LED night light.
• ECO/Long Press Power: Activates eco-mode or powers the unit on/off with a long press.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your KERDE Electric Toilet Seat.

• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads.
• Nozzle Cleaning: The stainless steel nozzle has a self-cleaning function. Activate it regularly. For manual cleaning, gently pull out the nozzle and wipe it with a soft cloth. Do not use excessive force.
• Filter Maintenance: The upgraded water pipe includes filters to prevent impurities. Periodically check and clean these filters if water flow is reduced. Refer to the installation video for accessing the water connection points.
• Power Disconnection: Always unplug the unit before performing any deep cleaning or maintenance.
