3. Installation Guide
Follow these steps for a quick and easy installation. No plumber is typically required.
- Prepare the Toilet: Turn off the water supply to your toilet and flush to empty the tank. Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the toilet tank.
- Install T-Adapter: Connect the provided T-adapter to the toilet tank's water inlet. Reconnect the toilet's water supply hose to the T-adapter.
- Connect Bidet Water Hose: Attach the bidet's water hose to the T-adapter. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
- Remove Old Seat: Remove your existing toilet seat by unscrewing the mounting bolts.
- Install Mounting Plate: Place the mounting plate onto the toilet bowl, aligning the holes with the toilet's mounting holes. Insert the provided bolts and tighten them to secure the plate.
- Attach Bidet Seat: Slide the KERDE Electric Toilet Seat onto the mounting plate until it clicks into place.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V electrical outlet.
- Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn on the water supply to the toilet. Check for any leaks.
- Test Functionality: Once installed, test all functions as described in the Operating Instructions section.

4. Operating Instructions

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
