Operating Instructions

Manual Focus

The SIRUI Night Walker 16mm lens features a long, smooth focus throw (270° rotation angle) for precise manual focusing. Use the geared focus ring to achieve critical sharpness. For best results, utilize your camera's focus peaking or magnification features.

Aperture Control

Adjust the T-stop using the de-clicked aperture ring on the lens. The wide T1.2 aperture allows for excellent low-light performance and shallow depth of field. The aperture can be stopped down to T16 for increased depth of field.

Wide-Angle Perspective

The 16mm focal length provides a wide field of view, equivalent to approximately 24mm on a full-frame sensor (due to the S35 format). This makes it ideal for establishing shots, environmental portraits, and capturing expansive scenes.
