Setup (Installation)

The RSG H7 Halogen Headlight Bulbs are designed for easy, direct plug-and-play installation without the need for modifications or wiring changes. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions on accessing your headlight bulbs.

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is parked on a level surface, the engine is off, and the parking brake is engaged. Allow the existing bulbs to cool down if they have been recently in use.
  2. Access Headlight Assembly: Open the hood of your vehicle. Locate the rear of the headlight assembly. Depending on your vehicle model, you may need to remove a cover, battery, or other components to gain access.
  3. Disconnect Wiring: Carefully disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the existing H7 headlight bulb.
  4. Remove Old Bulb: Release the retaining clip or twist the bulb holder to remove the old H7 bulb from the headlight housing. Handle the old bulb by its base.
  5. Install New Bulb: Take one new RSG H7 Halogen Headlight Bulb. Do not touch the glass portion of the bulb. Hold the bulb by its metal base and carefully insert it into the headlight housing, ensuring it is seated correctly. Secure it with the retaining clip or by twisting the bulb holder back into place.
  6. Reconnect Wiring: Reconnect the electrical connector to the base of the new bulb. Ensure a secure connection.
  7. Test Functionality: Before reassembling any removed components, turn on your vehicle's headlights to verify that the new bulbs are functioning correctly. Check both low and high beams.
  8. Reassemble: Once confirmed, reassemble any components that were removed to access the headlight assembly.
