Using the Sun Canopy
The sun canopy is adjustable and removable. Extend or retract the canopy as needed to protect your child from direct sunlight. To remove, detach it from its anchor points on the car seat frame.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning the Fabric Cover
The fabric cover is removable and washable.
- Carefully remove the fabric cover from the car seat frame.
- Wash the cover at 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) using a mild detergent.
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron the cover.
- Allow the cover to air dry completely before reattaching it to the car seat.
Cleaning the Frame
Wipe the plastic and metal parts of the car seat frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Troubleshooting
Car Seat Feels Loose After Installation
Ensure the vehicle's 3-point seat belt is routed correctly through all designated belt guides and pulled tightly. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the belt path. Re-read the installation instructions and consult your vehicle's manual.
Harness is Difficult to Adjust
Check for any twists in the harness straps. Ensure the harness adjustment strap is not obstructed. If the harness is still stiff, ensure the child is not leaning against the straps, which can create tension.
Buckle is Sticking
Clean the buckle area. Food crumbs or debris can cause sticking. Do not lubricate the buckle. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
