1. Introduction
The Angoily Water Level Indicator is designed to simplify plant care by providing a clear visual indication of the water level in potted plants. This device helps prevent both overwatering and underwatering, contributing to healthier plant growth. It is suitable for various types of flower pots and grass pots, for both indoor and outdoor use.
This indicator operates without batteries or electricity, relying on a simple float mechanism to display the current water status.
2. Product Overview
The Angoily Water Level Indicator consists of a main tube and a floating buoy with a scale. The scale typically shows 'MIN' for low water and 'MAX' for full water, with intermediate markings.

3. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the water level indicator from its packaging.
- Insert into Pot: Gently insert the indicator into the soil of your potted plant. Ensure the bottom of the indicator reaches the water reservoir or the lowest point where water collects in the pot.
- Positioning: Position the indicator so that the transparent top part with the scale is visible above the soil line for easy reading.

4. Operating Instructions
The water level indicator provides a continuous visual reference for your plant's hydration needs.
- Reading the Level: Observe the floating buoy within the transparent section of the indicator. The position of the buoy corresponds to the water level in the pot.
- Low Water Indication: When the buoy is at the bottom of the scale, near the 'MIN' mark, it indicates that the water level is low, and the plant requires watering.
- Watering: Add water to the plant pot. As water fills the reservoir, the buoy will rise.
- Optimal Water Level: Continue watering until the buoy reaches the 'MAX' mark. Avoid overfilling beyond the 'MAX' level to prevent waterlogging.

5. Maintenance
To ensure accurate readings and prolong the life of your water level indicator, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Periodically remove the indicator from the pot and gently clean any soil or mineral deposits from the buoy and the transparent tube. Use mild soap and water if necessary, then rinse thoroughly.
- Inspection: Check for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the buoy moves freely within the tube.
- Storage: If not in use, store the indicator in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Buoy does not move freely or gives inaccurate readings. | Dirt, soil, or mineral deposits obstructing the buoy. | Remove the indicator and clean the buoy and tube thoroughly with water. Ensure no debris remains. |
| Indicator always shows 'MIN' even after watering. | Indicator not inserted deep enough to reach the water reservoir. | Ensure the indicator is fully inserted into the pot so its base is in contact with the water reservoir. |
| Indicator appears to be broken or damaged. | Physical damage to the plastic components. | If the indicator is physically damaged, it may need to be replaced. |
