4. Installation Guide

4.1 Pre-Installation Check
- Confirm vehicle compatibility (Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 2014-2018).
- Ensure your car does not have an optical fiber output.
- Verify your power cord interface has more than two cables.
- Gather all necessary tools (e.g., trim removal tools, screwdrivers, wire strippers).
- Disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical shorts.

4.2 Removing the Factory Radio
- Carefully use the provided frame removal tool to pry off the trim panels surrounding the factory radio.
- Unscrew the mounting bolts/screws holding the factory radio in place.
- Gently pull out the factory radio and disconnect all wiring harnesses and antenna cables.

4.3 Connecting the New Head Unit
- Connect the AINAVI head unit's wiring harness to the vehicle's factory harness. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect the GPS antenna, FM antenna, and any other auxiliary cables (e.g., USB, microphone, rearview camera).
- If installing the rearview camera, route the camera cable to the rear of the vehicle and connect it to the camera and the head unit's input.
- For RCA output to additional screens, connect the RCA cable from the head unit to the headrest monitors (ASIN: B0CCV2GC25 for compatible monitors).
4.4 Mounting the New Head Unit
- Carefully slide the AINAVI head unit into the dashboard opening.
- Secure the head unit with the mounting bolts/screws.
- Reattach the trim panels, ensuring they snap securely into place.

5.1 Initial Power On and Setup
- Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
- Turn on the vehicle's ignition. The head unit should power on automatically.
- Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including language, time zone, and Wi-Fi connection.
