4. Installation and Setup

4.1 Mounting the Intercom

1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a flat, suitable area on the left side of your helmet.
2. Attach Bracket: Use either the clip-on bracket (for helmets with a suitable edge) or the adhesive bracket (for smooth surfaces). Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Insert Intercom Unit: Slide the H2E intercom unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.

4.2 Installing Speakers and Microphone

1. Speaker Placement: Attach the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the adhesive pads. Ensure they are aligned with your ears for optimal sound.
2. Microphone Placement: For full-face helmets, attach the soft-wire microphone to the chin bar. For open-face helmets, use the hard-wire boom microphone and position it near your mouth.
3. Connect Cables: Plug the speaker and microphone cables into the corresponding ports on the H2E intercom unit. Route cables neatly under the helmet padding.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

The H2E supports one-click pairing for quick connection to your smartphone or other Bluetooth devices.

1. Enter Pairing Mode: With the device off, press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately.
2. Connect on Device: On your smartphone or GPS, enable Bluetooth and select "Moman H2E" from the list of available devices.
3. Confirmation: The indicator light will turn solid blue when successfully paired.

5.3 Intercom Communication

The H2E allows intercom communication up to 1000 meters.

• Start Intercom: Briefly press the Intercom button.
• End Intercom: Briefly press the Intercom button again.

5.4 Music Playback & Sharing

• Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function Knob.
• Next Track: Rotate the Multi-function Knob clockwise.
• Previous Track: Rotate the Multi-function Knob counter-clockwise.
• Music Sharing: While music is playing, press and hold the Music Sharing button to share audio with another paired H2E unit.

5.5 FM Radio

• Turn On/Off FM: Press the FM button.
• Scan Stations: Press and hold the FM button to automatically scan and save available stations.
• Change Station: Briefly rotate the Multi-function Knob.

5.6 Phone Calls

• Answer Call: Briefly press the Multi-function Knob.
• End Call: Briefly press the Multi-function Knob during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function Knob for 2 seconds when a call comes in.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Multi-function Knob.

5.7 Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Voice Assistant button (or Multi-function Knob, depending on model variant) for 2 seconds to activate Siri, Google Assistant, etc.

5.8 Volume Control

• Increase Volume: Rotate the Multi-function Knob clockwise.
• Decrease Volume: Rotate the Multi-function Knob counter-clockwise.

The Moman H2E is equipped with an 800mAh battery. To charge the device, connect the supplied USB cable to the charging port on the intercom unit and a suitable USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The device provides up to 25 hours of working time and 300 hours of standby time.

• Cleaning: Wipe the intercom unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
