4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Microscope

  1. Place the heavy base on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Insert the vertical pillar of the flex boom arm stand into the designated slot on the base and secure it firmly.
  3. Attach the microscope unit to the flex arm. Ensure the unit is securely clamped to allow for 360° rotation and horizontal adjustment.
  4. Carefully attach the ring light to the microscope lens assembly. Ensure the tightening screws align with the indentations for proper fit and focus.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the microscope and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The microscope also includes a built-in battery for portable use.

4.3 SD Card Installation

The 64GB SD card is typically pre-installed. If not, locate the SD card slot on the microscope unit and insert the card until it clicks into place. This card is essential for saving images and videos.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the microscope's display unit to turn it on. To power off, press and hold the power button until the display shuts down. The remote control can turn the microscope off, but not on.

5.2 Autofocus Functionality

The TM4K-AF Max features advanced autofocus with TOF distance sensing and AI technology. Simply place your object under the lens, and the microscope will automatically adjust focus for clear imaging. This eliminates the need for manual focus adjustments, saving time and ensuring sharp details.

5.3 Magnification and Zoom

The microscope offers a magnification range from 2X to 2000X. Utilize the digital zoom function to further enlarge the image on the 10.1-inch IPS screen. The 4K resolution (3840x2160P for video, 52MP for images) ensures high clarity even at maximum zoom.

5.4 Image and Video Capture

Use the remote control to capture photos and record videos without touching the microscope, minimizing vibrations and ensuring stable shots. The captured media is saved directly to the pre-installed 64GB SD card.

5.5 External Display Connection

The microscope supports real-time tri-screen display via HDMI and USB outputs. Connect the microscope to an external monitor or computer using the provided HDMI or USB cables for a larger viewing experience. HDMI output supports 1080P 60fps, and USB output supports 3840x2160P 30fps (H264), 1080P 30fps, and 720P 60fps.

5.6 Thumbnail and Grid Line Features

The microscope includes a thumbnail function for quick locating and digital zoom. It also features 8 DIY grid lines to enhance accuracy, particularly useful for soldering and precise measurements.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the microscope, use a soft, dry cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surfaces.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the microscope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the lens is covered to prevent dust accumulation.
