4. Operating (How to Play)
Monopoly Board Crawl is designed for 2-10 players and typically lasts around 30 minutes. The game ends when every player has passed 'GO' once.
Gameplay Flow:
- Choose Your Token: Each player selects a unique golden token to represent them on the board.
- Roll the Die: On your turn, roll the single die and move your token clockwise around the board the corresponding number of spaces.
- Land on a Space: The action you take depends on the space you land on:
- Properties: If you land on an unowned property, you can 'buy' it by taking a sip of your chosen beverage. If you land on a property owned by another player, you must pay 'rent' by taking the number of sips indicated on the Title Deed card. Alternatively, you can attempt to 'steal' the property by completing a ridiculous dare or challenge specified on the card.
- Chance: Draw a Chance Card and follow the instructions. These cards introduce unpredictable dares, truths, or actions that add humor and spontaneity to the game. If you wish to pass on a dare or truth, you must take a sip.
- GO: When you pass or land on 'GO', you have completed one full circuit of the board.
- Jail: If you land on 'Go to Jail' or draw a card that sends you to Jail, move your token directly to the Jail space. You cannot collect sips or buy properties while in Jail.
- Winning the Game: The game concludes once every player has passed 'GO' one time. The player who has collected the most Title Deeds (properties) at this point is declared the winner.
