1. Introduction

2. Setup and Installation

2.2 CPU Installation

  1. Locate the LGA988 CPU socket on the motherboard.
  2. Gently lift the load lever on the side of the CPU socket.
  3. Align the CPU with the socket, ensuring the triangular mark on the CPU matches the mark on the socket. Carefully place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
  4. Lower the load lever back into its locked position to secure the CPU.
  5. Apply thermal paste to the CPU and install the CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.

2.3 RAM (Memory) Installation

  1. Locate the 240-pin DDR3 S0 DIMM slot on the motherboard.
  2. Open the clips at both ends of the memory slot.
  3. Align the notch on the DDR3 S0 DIMM module with the key in the slot.
  4. Insert the memory module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place, securing the module.

2.4 Power Connections

  • Connect the 12V 4-pin ATX power connector from your power supply unit (PSU) to the corresponding port on the motherboard.
