  • Lens: Captures photos and videos.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Camera

  1. Locate the Micro USB port on the side of the camera (refer to Figure 4.3).
  2. Connect the smaller end of the provided USB charging cable to the camera's Micro USB port.
  3. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
  5. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

5.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

A Micro SD card (not included) is required to save photos and videos. The camera supports cards up to 32GB.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera (refer to Figure 4.3).
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the metal contacts facing down, until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove the card, gently push it in again until it clicks and springs out.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the screen turns off.

6.2 Taking Photos

  1. Ensure the camera is in photo mode. If not, use the navigation buttons to select the photo icon on the screen.
  2. Frame your shot using the display screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button once to take a photo. The image will be saved to the Micro SD card.

6.3 Recording Videos

  1. Navigate to video mode using the navigation buttons.
  2. Press the Shutter button once to start recording. A recording indicator will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording. The video will be saved to the Micro SD card.

6.4 Playback Mode

  1. Enter playback mode from the main menu.
  2. Use the navigation buttons to scroll through your saved photos and videos.
  3. Press the Shutter button (or a designated 'OK' button) to view a photo or play a video.

6.5 Menu Navigation

The camera features an intuitive menu system. Use the navigation buttons (up, down, left, right) to move between options and the Shutter/OK button to confirm selections. Common settings include:

  • Resolution: Adjust photo/video quality.
  • Date/Time: Set the current date and time.
  • Language: Select your preferred language.
  • Format SD Card: Erase all data on the Micro SD card. (Caution: This will delete all files.)

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens and screen, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the camera.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the camera regularly and avoid completely draining the battery for extended periods. If storing for a long time, charge it to about 50% every few months.

8. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Camera does not turn on. Battery is drained. Charge the camera using the provided USB cable.
Cannot take photos/videos. No Micro SD card inserted or card is full/corrupted. Insert a Micro SD card. Check if the card has free space. Format the card if necessary (Caution: This deletes all data).
Images are blurry. Lens is dirty. Insufficient lighting. Clean the lens with a soft cloth. Ensure adequate lighting when taking pictures.
Camera freezes. Software glitch. Press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
