5. Setup Guide

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case.

1. Place both earbuds into the charging case.
2. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The digital display on the case will show the battery percentage, indicating charging status. The earbuds will also show a charging indicator.
4. Once fully charged, the display will show 100%. Disconnect the charging cable.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your earbuds to a device:

1. Ensure both earbuds are charged and inside the charging case.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by flashing lights (if applicable, or a voice prompt).
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
4. Search for available devices and select "SK18" from the list.
5. Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm successful pairing, and the earbud indicator lights will turn off or flash slowly.
6. For subsequent use, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when removed from the case.

5.3 Wearing the Earbuds

The SK18 earbuds are designed for a secure and comfortable fit, even for small ears or during sleep.

1. Choose the ear tips that provide the best seal and comfort for your ears.
2. Gently insert each earbud into your ear canal.
3. Rotate the earbud slightly until it feels snug and secure. The design allows for comfortable wear without pressing against the ear, even when lying on your side.

6. Operating Instructions

The SK18 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud.

6.1 Basic Functions

• Power On: Open the charging case, or press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Place earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid, or press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for 5 seconds.
• Play/Pause: Double-tap the touch area on either earbud.
• Next Track: Triple-tap the touch area on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Triple-tap the touch area on the left earbud.
• Volume Up: Press and hold the touch area on the right earbud for 1.5 seconds.
• Volume Down: Press and hold the touch area on the left earbud for 1.5 seconds.

6.2 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Double-tap the touch area on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the touch area on either earbud for 1.5 seconds.

6.3 Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.): Quadruple-tap the touch area on either earbud.

7. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the earbuds and charging case. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Ear Tips: Regularly remove and clean the ear tips with water and mild soap. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place.
• Water Exposure: While IPX5 rated, avoid submerging the earbuds in water. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet.

8.1 Earbuds Not Pairing/Connecting

• Ensure both earbuds are charged.
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
• Place the earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode.
• Forget "SK18" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.

8.2 Only One Earbud Working

• Ensure both earbuds are charged.
• Place both earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid, and then open it again. This often resets the connection between them.
