Setup and Assembly

Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

Operating Instructions (Conversions)
The DaVinci Otto crib is designed for 3-in-1 conversion, adapting to your child's needs as they grow.
Crib Mode
In crib mode, the mattress support can be adjusted to one of four positions. For newborns, the highest position is typically used for easier access. As your child grows and becomes more mobile, lower the mattress support to prevent them from climbing out.
Toddler Bed Conversion
To convert the crib to a toddler bed, remove the front side rail and replace it with the toddler rail (sold separately or included). This provides a lower barrier, allowing your child to get in and out independently while still offering a sense of security.

Daybed Conversion
For daybed conversion, remove the front side rail entirely. The mattress support should be set to its lowest position. This configuration provides an open-front seating or sleeping area, suitable for older toddlers or as a small sofa.

Maintenance and Care
To maintain the quality and appearance of your DaVinci Otto Crib, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the crib surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Inspections: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Loose hardware can compromise the crib's stability and safety.
- Storage: If storing the crib, disassemble it carefully and store all parts in a dry, temperature-controlled environment to prevent warping or damage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your DaVinci Otto Crib, consider the following common solutions:
- Wobbling or Instability: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Check that all components are correctly aligned according to the assembly instructions.
- Difficulty Adjusting Mattress Height: Verify that the mattress support hooks are properly seated in the desired slots on all four corners. Ensure no obstructions are preventing smooth movement.
- Missing Parts: If any parts were missing upon delivery, contact DaVinci customer support immediately for assistance. Do not attempt to substitute parts.
For issues not covered here, please refer to the full assembly manual or contact DaVinci customer support.
