Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your GOOLOO GP4000 jump starter. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours using a USB-C cable and a compatible wall charger or car charger (not included).

Operating Instructions
Jump Starting Your Vehicle
The GOOLOO GP4000 is designed for safe and efficient jump starting. Follow these steps carefully:
- Insert Jumper Cable: Insert the blue end of the smart jumper cable into the jump starter's 12V output port.
- Connect Clamps: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a firm connection.
- Check Indicator: The indicator light on the smart jumper cable will turn solid green when the connection is correct and safe to proceed. If the battery voltage is extremely low, press the "BOOST" button on the smart cable to force a start.
- Start Engine: Start your car engine. If it doesn't start on the first attempt, wait 30 seconds before trying again. Do not attempt more than 3 consecutive starts.
- Disconnect: Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the smart jumper cable from the vehicle battery terminals, then disconnect it from the jump starter unit.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Unit does not power on:
- Ensure the unit is sufficiently charged. Recharge if necessary.
- Vehicle does not jump start:
- Check that the smart jumper cable is securely inserted into the jump starter.
- Verify that the red clamp is connected to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
- Ensure the indicator light on the smart cable is solid green. If the vehicle battery is extremely low, press the "BOOST" button on the smart cable.
- Allow 30 seconds between jump start attempts. Do not exceed 3 attempts.
- Ensure the vehicle's battery is not completely dead (0% charge), as the unit may not be able to start it in such extreme conditions without some residual voltage.
- Charging other devices is slow or not working:
- Ensure the device being charged is compatible with the output specifications (5V/2.1A for standard USB, 5V/3A for Type-C). Check the charging cable for damage.
