Setup
Follow these steps to set up your mobile air conditioner for first use:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around the unit for optimal airflow. The unit's caster wheels allow for easy repositioning.
- Prepare Cooling Elements (Optional for enhanced cooling): Fill the two cooling elements with water (if not pre-filled) and place them in a freezer for at least 4 hours until completely frozen.
- Fill Water Tank: Pull out the water tank from the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 5). Fill the tank with clean, cool water up to the "MAX" line. If using cooling elements, place them into the water tank after filling. Carefully slide the water tank back into its position until it clicks securely.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (220-240V, 50-60Hz). The unit will emit a beep, and the LED display will light up briefly, indicating it is in standby mode.
Operation
The Lifetime Air Mobile Air Conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control (refer to Figure 3).
Control Panel and Remote Control Functions
- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Speed Button (☰): Press repeatedly to cycle through the three fan speeds: Low (5 m/s), Medium (5.8 m/s), and High (6.8 m/s). The current speed will be indicated on the LED display.
- Mode Button (▦): Press to select the operating mode:
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or humidifying.
- Humidifier Mode: Releases moisture into the air from the water tank.
- Cooler Mode: Activates the water pump to circulate water over the cooling pad, providing evaporative cooling. For enhanced cooling, ensure cooling elements are in the water tank.
- Timer Button (⏲): Press to set the operating timer. Each press increases the timer by 0.5 hours, up to a maximum of 15.5 hours. The unit will automatically turn off once the set time expires.
- Swing Button (↻): Press to activate or deactivate the 60-degree oscillation function, which moves the louvers horizontally to distribute air more widely.
- Cool Button (❄️): Activates or deactivates the cooling function. This function requires water in the tank and is enhanced by the use of frozen cooling elements.
Note: The unit operates at a maximum noise level of 55 dB, making it suitable for various environments, including bedrooms.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your appliance. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cleaning the Water Tank:
- Remove the water tank from the unit.
- Empty any remaining water.
- Clean the tank with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
- Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Clean the tank regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Cleaning the Air Filter:
- Locate the air filter at the back of the unit (refer to Figure 6).
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not use the unit without the filter.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the unit is dry. Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
