Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V, 60Hz electrical outlet. The unit is designed for a standard household electrical supply.

3. Drainage Options

Your dehumidifier offers three drainage methods:

  • Manual Drainage (Bucket): Water collects in the internal 16.2-pint bucket. When full, the unit will automatically shut off and indicate that the bucket needs to be emptied.
  • Continuous Gravity Drainage: For continuous operation without emptying the bucket, attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to a floor drain.
  • Pump Drainage: The built-in pump allows water to be drained upwards or to a more distant location. Connect the included drain hose to the pump drain port. Ensure the hose is securely attached and directed to a suitable drain.
