2. Assembling the Chainsaw Unit

The mini chainsaw unit typically comes pre-assembled. Ensure the chain is correctly seated on the guide bar and the cover knob is securely fastened.

3. Chain Tension Adjustment (Tool-Free)

The Avhrit chainsaw features a tool-free automatic chain adjustment function. This allows for easy tensioning by simply rotating the chain tension knob.

  • Ensure the battery is removed before adjusting the chain.
  • Locate the chain tension knob on the side of the chainsaw unit.
  • Rotate the knob to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
  • Refer to the visual guide for correct chain direction and tension.

4. Filling the Lubrication System

The chainsaw has an automatic lubrication system. Fill the oil reservoir before each use.

  • Use appropriate chainsaw bar and chain oil.
  • Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw unit.
  • Carefully fill the reservoir using the provided empty oil bottle or a suitable funnel. Avoid overfilling.
  • To activate lubrication, press the lubrication button 3-4 times during operation.

5. Attaching the Telescopic Pole (for Pole Pruner Mode)

To convert to a pole pruner, attach the mini chainsaw unit to the telescopic pole.

  • Align the connection points of the chainsaw unit and the telescopic pole.
  • Securely fasten them according to the locking mechanism.
  • Extend the telescopic pole to the desired length. The pole can extend up to 15 feet (approx. 4.5 meters) for reaching high branches.
  • Attach the shoulder straps for comfortable and stable operation when using the pole.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Operation

  • Insert a charged battery into the tool.
  • To start the tool, press the safety lock switch and then squeeze the trigger. Release the safety lock switch once the tool is running.
  • To stop the tool, release the trigger.

2. Using as a Mini Chainsaw

  • Adjustable Cutting Angle: The cutting head can be adjusted from 0 to 120 degrees to suit different cutting needs. Loosen the adjustment knob, set the desired angle, and tighten the knob securely.
  • Extend the Pole: Extend the telescopic pole to the appropriate length for the branch you are cutting. Ensure all locking mechanisms are secure.
  • Maintain Balance: Use the shoulder strap to distribute the weight and maintain balance.
  • Cutting Technique: Position the saw blade firmly against the branch. Start the saw and allow the chain to reach full speed before beginning the cut. Use a steady, controlled motion.
  • Avoid Overreaching: Do not overreach or cut branches that are too thick for the tool's capacity.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Avhrit 2-in-1 Chainsaw.

  • Chain Lubrication: Regularly check the oil level in the lubrication system and refill as needed. Press the lubrication button 3-4 times during operation to ensure proper oil flow.
  • Chain Tension: Check chain tension frequently, especially during extended use. Adjust using the tool-free tension knob if the chain becomes loose. A loose chain can derail or cause injury.
  • Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the tool. Use a brush to remove sawdust, debris, and sap from the chain, guide bar, and motor housing. Do not use water directly on electrical components.
  • Guide Bar Maintenance: Periodically flip the guide bar to ensure even wear. Clean the guide bar groove to prevent clogging.
  • Chain Sharpening/Replacement: A dull chain will reduce cutting efficiency and increase strain on the motor. Sharpen the chain as needed or replace it if it is damaged or excessively worn.
  • Storage: Store the tool in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children. Ensure the battery is removed before storage. Use the protective cover for the chain.
