1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Read and understand all instructions before use.

3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the nailer and all accessories from the carrying BMC box. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Connecting to Air Supply:
    • Attach a 6-mm NPT standard quick plug adapter to the air inlet of the nailer.
    • Connect the nailer to your air compressor using a suitable air hose. Ensure the air compressor is set to the recommended operating pressure of 60-120 PSI.

  3. Loading Nails:
    • Press the magazine latch to open the quick-release magazine.
    • Insert a strip of 18-gauge brad nails (5/8-inch to 2-inch long) into the magazine, ensuring the sharp side of the nails faces down. The magazine can hold up to 100 nails.
    • Close the magazine until it latches securely.

  4. Adjusting Depth: The tool features a tool-free depth of drive adjustment. Use your finger or thumb to easily modify the nail's penetration depth based on your project requirements and material hardness.
  5. Oiling: Apply a few drops of lubricating oil (included) into the air inlet before each use or after extended periods of non-use to ensure smooth operation and prolong tool life.

4. Operating the Nailer

Familiarize yourself with the components of the nailer before operation.

  1. Positioning: Hold the nailer firmly with both hands if possible. Place the Work Contact Element (WCE) firmly against the workpiece where you intend to drive a nail.
  2. Driving Nails: Once the WCE is pressed against the surface, pull the trigger to drive a nail. Release the trigger after each nail.
  3. Depth Adjustment: If nails are not driven to the desired depth or are driven too deep, adjust the tool-free depth mechanism as needed.

8. Storage

When not in use, store the NEU MASTER Pneumatic Brad Nailer in its original BMC carrying case in a dry, clean environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect from air supply before storing.
