2. Important Safety Information

Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this tool. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Eye Protection: Always wear appropriate eye protection (safety glasses or goggles) when operating the rotary tool to protect against flying debris.
  • Work Area: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

4. Product Overview

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

The DEPSTECH P1P rotary tool is equipped with a 2.5Ah lithium-ion battery that supports 18W fast charging via a USB-C cable. Before first use, fully charge the tool.

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging terminals on the tool and plug the other end into a compatible power source (e.g., power bank, car charger, or wall charger). The display screen will indicate the charging status.

5.2 Attaching Accessories

To change or attach accessories, follow these general steps:

  1. Press and hold the shaft lock button to prevent the shaft from rotating.
  2. Loosen the collet nut using the provided wrench.
  3. Insert the desired accessory shank fully into the collet.
  4. Tighten the collet nut firmly with the wrench while still holding the shaft lock button. Release the shaft lock button once tightened.

6. Operation

6.1 Powering On and Speed Control

To power on the tool, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The large digital display screen will illuminate, showing the current speed level and battery percentage. Use the speed control buttons (up/down arrows) to adjust the rotational speed from 5,000 RPM to 35,000 RPM across 5 variable speed settings.

6.2 5-Minute Memory Function

This tool features a memory function that remembers the last speed setting used for up to 5 minutes after being shut down. This allows for quick resumption of work without needing to re-adjust the speed every time. After 5 minutes, the tool will revert to the default 3rd speed setting.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DEPSTECH P1P rotary tool.

8. Troubleshooting
