3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial System Connection

The ANRAN PoE system is designed for easy plug-and-play installation. Follow these steps to connect your system:

1. Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using the provided HDMI cable.
2. Connect the NVR to your router using the provided network cable for internet access.
3. Connect the power adapter to the NVR and plug it into a power outlet.
4. Connect each PoE camera to an available PoE port on the NVR using the provided network cables. The cameras will receive both power and data through these cables.
5. Once connected, the cameras should automatically display on your monitor.

3.2 ANRAN App Setup

• Clean Lenses: Periodically wipe camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or water spots that may obscure the view. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Check Cables: Inspect all network and power cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Secure any loose cables to prevent accidental disconnections.
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check for and install firmware updates for your NVR and cameras. Updates often include performance improvements, new features, and security enhancements. Refer to the ANRAN app or website for update instructions.
