3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

  1. Before first use, fully charge the device.
  2. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the charging port on the device.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  4. The Power/Working light will indicate charging status. Refer to the LED indicator section for details.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the device from the charging cable.

3.2 Locking Mechanism

To prevent accidental activation when carrying the device in a pocket or bag, slide the LED/Lock switch to the "Lock" position.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Training Mode (General Mode)

The Training Mode is suitable for correcting common unwanted behaviors in your dog, such as excessive barking, digging, or jumping. This mode emits a continuous ultrasonic wave in the 20-25 kHz range.

  1. Ensure the device is unlocked (LED/Lock switch is not in the "Lock" position).
  2. Point the device directly at the dog from a distance of up to 25 feet.
  3. Press and hold the Training Button (the upper button). The device will emit an ultrasonic sound and vibrate.
  4. Release the button once the dog stops the unwanted behavior.
  5. Use this mode in conjunction with verbal commands and positive reinforcement for effective training.

4.2 Deterrent Mode (Enhanced Mode)

The Deterrent Mode is designed for more immediate intervention, such as deterring aggressive dogs or stopping persistent unwanted behaviors. This mode emits a higher frequency and faster ultrasonic wave (7-10 times per second) with an effective range of up to 33 feet.

  1. Ensure the device is unlocked.
  2. Point the device directly at the dog.
  3. Press and hold the Repellent Button (the lower button). The device will emit a stronger ultrasonic sound, vibrate, and may activate a burst LED flash.
  4. Release the button once the dog retreats or stops the unwanted behavior.

4.3 LED Flashlight

The device includes an LED flashlight for use in low-light conditions.

  • To activate the stable LED light, slide the LED/Lock switch to the "LED" position.
  • To activate the flashing LED light, press the Repellent Button while the LED/Lock switch is in the "LED" position.
  • To turn off the LED light, slide the LED/Lock switch back to the center (off) or "Lock" position.

5. Charging

The device is equipped with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.

  • When the battery is low, the button light indicator will turn red.
  • Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C USB cable.
  • The Power/Working light will indicate charging status.
  • A full charge typically takes a few hours.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
