1. Introduction

The NUSICAN N16 2000A Portable Car Jump Starter is a compact yet powerful device designed to instantly restart 12V vehicles with engines up to 7.5L Gas or 5.5L Diesel. Beyond its primary function, it serves as a versatile power bank for charging electronic devices and features an integrated LED flashlight with multiple modes for emergencies. 2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety information before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Ensure the jump starter's battery power is above 50% before use for optimal performance.
  • Always connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal and the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle battery.
  • Do not touch the red and black clamps together to avoid short circuits.
  • Remove the jumper clamps from the vehicle battery immediately after the car starts.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures (above 140°F/60°C or below -4°F/-20°C) for prolonged periods.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • The intelligent jumper clamps have built-in 10 safety protections, including reverse polarity, short circuit, reverse charge, low voltage, reverse connection, over charge, low temperature, over discharge, over current, and over temperature protection. An LCD screen on the clamp will notify of incorrect operations.

4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your NUSICAN N16 jump starter. Use the provided USB Type-C cable and connect it to a 5V/2A USB wall adapter (not included). The power indicator lights will show the charging progress.

4.2 Checking Battery Level

Press the power button briefly to check the current battery level indicated by the LED lights:

  • 4 lights: 75%-100% charged
  • 3 lights: 50%-74% charged
  • 2 lights: 25%-49% charged
  • 1 light: 5%-24% charged

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully to jump start your 12V vehicle:

  1. Prepare the Jump Starter: Ensure the jump starter is charged above 50%. Press the power button on the jump starter and insert the intelligent jumper cable into the jump starter's port.
  2. Connect Clamps: Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery. Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery. The LCD screen on the smart clamp will display connection status and notify of any incorrect operations.
  3. Start Vehicle: Once the clamps are correctly connected and the smart clamp indicates readiness, start your car engine.
  4. Remove Clamps: After the car starts successfully, immediately unplug the jumper cable from the jump starter, then remove the clamps from the vehicle battery.

5.2 Using as a Power Bank

The NUSICAN N16 can charge various USB-powered devices:

  • Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB output port (5V/2.4A) on the jump starter.
  • The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.

5.3 LED Flashlight Modes

The integrated LED flashlight offers three modes for different situations:

  • Flashlight Mode: Long press the power button to turn on the flashlight.
  • SOS Mode: Short press the power button again to switch to SOS mode (three short flashes, three long flashes, three short flashes).
  • Emergency Strobe: Short press the power button a third time to activate the emergency strobe mode (rapid flashing).
  • Turn Off: Short press the power button a fourth time to turn off the flashlight.

6. Maintenance and Storage

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliability of your jump starter:

  • Regular Charging: If not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge the battery jump starter every 2-3 months to keep it in a healthy state. The device has a 24-month standby time when fully charged.
  • Storage: Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
