3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Connecting to PC

To connect the PHOINIKAS H9 Gaming Headset to a PC, use the included 1-to-2 3.5mm audio jack splitter cable. The red jack is for the microphone, and the green jack is for audio output. The USB plug is for powering the LED lights only.

1. Plug the 3.5mm audio jack from the headset into the female end of the splitter cable.
2. Connect the red splitter plug to your PC's microphone input jack.
3. Connect the green splitter plug to your PC's audio output jack.
4. Plug the USB connector into an available USB port on your PC to power the LED lights.

3.2 Connecting to PS4/PS5

The headset connects directly to the PS4/PS5 controller via the 3.5mm audio jack. The USB connection is not required for audio or microphone on consoles, only for LED lights.

1. Plug the 3.5mm audio jack from the headset directly into the 3.5mm port on your PS4 or PS5 controller.
2. (Optional) Plug the USB connector into an available USB port on your console to power the LED lights.
3. Adjust audio settings on your console: Go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Output to Headphones > All Audio.

3.3 Connecting to Xbox One

For Xbox One, an additional Microsoft adapter (not included) is required for full functionality. Newer Xbox One controllers may have a 3.5mm jack directly.

1. If your Xbox One controller has a 3.5mm jack, plug the headset's 3.5mm audio jack directly into it.
2. If your controller does not have a 3.5mm jack, connect the headset to the Microsoft adapter, then plug the adapter into the controller.
3. (Optional) Plug the USB connector into an available USB port on your console to power the LED lights.
4. Adjust audio settings on your console as needed.

3.4 Connecting to Nintendo Switch, Laptop, Tablet, and Mobile Devices

For these devices, simply plug the headset's 3.5mm audio jack directly into the device's 3.5mm port. The USB connection is only for LED lights and is optional.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Volume Control

The headset features an in-line volume control wheel located on the cable. Rotate the wheel up to increase volume and down to decrease volume.

4.2 Microphone Mute/Unmute

An in-line switch on the cable allows you to quickly mute or unmute the microphone. Slide the switch to the appropriate position for desired microphone status.

4.3 LED Lights

The LED lights on the earcups are powered via the USB connection. If you wish to use the LED lights, ensure the USB plug is connected to a powered USB port on your device or a USB power adapter.

6.1 No Sound or Low Volume

• Ensure the 3.5mm audio jack is fully inserted into the device.
• Check the in-line volume control on the headset cable and adjust it to an audible level.
• Verify the audio settings on your device (PC, console, mobile) to ensure the headset is selected as the output device and volume is not muted.
• If using with PC, ensure the green 3.5mm splitter cable is connected to the audio output jack.

6.2 Microphone Not Working

• Ensure the microphone mute switch on the cable is in the "unmute" position.
• Verify the microphone is properly positioned near your mouth.
• Check the input device settings on your PC or console to ensure the headset microphone is selected and not muted.
• If using with PC, ensure the red 3.5mm splitter cable is connected to the microphone input jack.
• For Xbox One, confirm that the required Microsoft adapter is correctly connected, if applicable.
• Note: The microphone is not supported on Nintendo Switch.
