3. Package Contents
Before beginning assembly, unpack all components and verify that you have received all parts listed in the packing list provided with your tent. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact Flamaker customer service for assistance.
4. Setup Instructions
Assembly requires at least two adults. Choose a flat, level surface for setup, clear of overhead obstructions and sharp objects.
- Identify Components: Lay out all poles, connectors, canopy, and side walls. Group similar parts together. Refer to the assembly diagram in your package for specific part identification.
- Assemble the Roof Frame: Begin by connecting the roof poles and connectors according to the diagram. Ensure all push-button connectors snap into place securely.
- Attach the Canopy: Carefully drape the main canopy over the assembled roof frame. Ensure the canopy is centered and all corners align with the frame's corners. Secure the canopy to the frame using any integrated fasteners (e.g., Velcro straps, bungee cords).
- Assemble the Leg Poles: Attach the leg poles to the roof frame. Lift the frame gradually, with one person at each corner, and insert the leg poles into the roof connectors.
- Raise the Tent: Once all leg poles are attached, slowly raise the tent to its full height. Ensure all leg poles are fully extended and locked into position.
- Attach Side Walls: Secure the side walls to the frame using the provided fasteners (e.g., Velcro, ties). Ensure they are properly aligned to prevent gaps.
- Anchor the Tent: Use the provided stakes and ropes to firmly anchor each leg and corner of the tent to the ground. For added stability, especially in areas prone to wind, consider using additional weights or sandbags on each leg.
5. Operating Instructions
The Flamaker Party Tent is designed for temporary outdoor use. Proper operation ensures longevity and safety.
- Side Wall Management: The side walls can be rolled up and secured with ties for an open-air feel or kept down for privacy and protection from elements.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially on warm days, by opening side walls or doors.
- Weather Monitoring: Regularly check weather forecasts. In case of strong winds, heavy rain, or other severe weather, disassemble the tent to prevent damage or injury.
- Stability Check: Periodically check that all stakes and ropes are secure and that the frame connections remain tight.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your party tent.
- Cleaning: Clean the canopy and side walls with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely.
- Frame Care: Wipe down the aluminum frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Inspect for any signs of rust or damage.
- Drying: Always ensure the canopy and side walls are completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mildew and mold growth.
- Storage: Store the tent in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep all components organized in their original bags or suitable containers.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect all poles, connectors, canopy, and ropes for wear, tear, or damage. Replace any damaged parts before assembly.
7. Troubleshooting
- Tent Instability:
- Ensure all leg poles are fully extended and locked.
- Verify that all frame connections are secure.
- Check that stakes are firmly driven into the ground and ropes are taut. Consider adding more stakes or weights. - Water Pooling on Canopy:
- Ensure the canopy is stretched tightly over the frame to prevent sagging.
- Adjust the frame if possible to create better tension and water runoff. - Difficulty Assembling Poles:
- Ensure you are using the correct poles and connectors as per the diagram.
- Check for any debris inside the pole ends that might obstruct connection.
- Apply gentle pressure; do not force connections. - Missing or Damaged Parts:
- Refer to your packing list. If parts are genuinely missing or damaged upon arrival, contact Flamaker customer service immediately.
