1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Initial Setup

Follow these steps to set up your UMIDIGI G2 Tab for the first time:

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button until the UMIDIGI logo appears.
2. Language Selection: On the welcome screen, select your preferred language (e.g., English (United States)) and tap "Start".
3. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password. Tap "Connect". If you wish to set up offline, tap "Set up offline" and then "Continue".
4. Date & Time: Confirm the date and time settings. Tap "Next".
5. Google Services: Review the Google services options. Scroll down and tap "Accept" to proceed.
6. Set a PIN (Optional): You can set a screen lock PIN for security. To skip this step, tap "Skip" and then "Skip anyway".

5.1 Basic Navigation

The UMIDIGI G2 Tab runs on Android 13. Navigate using touch gestures: tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom.

5.2 Split Screen Function

The tablet supports split-screen mode, allowing you to use two applications simultaneously. To activate, open a recent apps view, long-press an app icon, and select the split-screen option. Then choose a second app.

Project your tablet's screen to a compatible external display wirelessly. Access this feature through the quick settings panel or display settings.

5.4 Camera Usage

6.1 Battery Care

The UMIDIGI G2 Tab is powered by a 6000mAh battery. To prolong battery life:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Do not leave the tablet charging for extended periods after it reaches 100%.

6.2 Storage Expansion

The internal 64GB storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a TF (microSD) card. Insert the TF card into the designated slot on the tablet.
