- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Battery Tool Use and Care
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
- Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs.
- When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help.

- Blade Safety: Ensure the blade is securely installed before operation. Always use sharp blades.
- Material Safety: Avoid cutting damp wood to protect the motor and prevent kickback.
- Secure Workpiece: Always secure the workpiece to prevent movement during cutting.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Charging
Before first use, fully charge both 20V 2.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries. The included 0.5Ah charger is designed for this purpose.
- Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
- Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
- Observe the charger's indicator light for charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light indications.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

3.2 Battery Installation
To install the battery into the saw:
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the bottom of the saw handle.
- Slide the battery into the port until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.
3.3 Blade Installation (Tool-Free)
The saw features a tool-free blade change system for quick and easy blade swaps.
- Rotate the Locking Collet: Locate the locking collet near the blade clamp. Rotate it counter-clockwise to open the blade clamp.
- Insert the Saw Blade: Insert the shank of the desired saw blade fully into the blade clamp opening.
- Secure the Blade: Release the locking collet. It will automatically spring back and secure the blade. Gently pull on the blade to ensure it is firmly locked in place.

3.4 Clamping Jaw Installation
The clamping jaw can be attached for increased stability when cutting certain materials.
- Align the clamping jaw with the mounting points on the front shoe of the saw.
- Secure the clamping jaw by pushing it into place until it locks. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off (Safety Switch)
The saw is equipped with a safety lock button to prevent unintentional starting.
- To Start: Press and hold the safety lock button (usually located near the trigger). While holding the safety button, depress the trigger switch to start the saw.
- To Stop: Release the trigger switch. The saw will stop, and the safety lock button will reset.

4.2 Variable Speed Control
The saw features variable speed control, allowing adjustment from 0 to 3500 Strokes Per Minute (SPM). The speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the trigger switch.
- Light pressure on the trigger results in lower speeds, suitable for starting cuts or delicate materials.
- Increased pressure on the trigger increases the speed, providing faster cutting for tougher materials.
4.3 Cutting Techniques
Select the appropriate blade for the material being cut. Ensure the workpiece is stable and secured.
- Wood Cutting: Use coarse-toothed blades. Apply steady pressure and allow the saw to do the work.
- Branch Cutting: The clamping jaw can be particularly useful for stabilizing branches. Use wood-specific blades.
- Metal Cutting: Use fine-toothed metal-cutting blades. Apply cutting oil if necessary to prolong blade life and improve cut quality.
- PVC Pipe Cutting: Use appropriate blades for plastic. Maintain a steady hand to prevent the pipe from cracking.

4.4 LED Worklight
The saw includes an integrated LED worklight that illuminates the cutting area, improving visibility in dimly lit conditions.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your reciprocating saw.
5.1 Cleaning
- After each use, disconnect the battery and clean the saw.
- Use a soft cloth to wipe down the exterior of the tool.
- Remove any sawdust, debris, or metal shavings from the blade clamp area and ventilation slots using compressed air or a brush.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Blade Replacement
Refer to Section 3.3 for detailed instructions on tool-free blade installation and removal.
5.3 Battery Care and Storage
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods. Recharge them periodically if not in use.
- Avoid dropping or physically damaging the battery packs.
