Control Buttons and Ports:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music. Press to answer/end calls.
  • Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Press and hold for next track.
  • Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume. Press and hold for previous track.

Setup

1. Charging the Speaker:

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the USB charging port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
  4. For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.

2. Powering On/Off:

  • To turn on, press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt.
  • To turn off, press and hold the Power button again until you hear an audible prompt.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing:

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for "HOPESTAR P7" (or similar name) in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select "HOPESTAR P7" to connect. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED light will stop flashing.
  5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when turned on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.

2. AUX Mode:

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX audio cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the audio output jack of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, or you may need to press the Mode (M) button to select AUX mode.
  4. Control playback and volume from your connected device or the speaker's controls.

3. TF Card Playback:

  1. Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with MP3/WMA format music files into the TF card slot on the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing music, or you may need to press the Mode (M) button to select TF card mode.
  3. Use the Play/Pause, Volume Up (+), and Volume Down (-) buttons to control playback.

4. FM Radio:

  1. Press the Mode (M) button repeatedly until you enter FM radio mode.
  2. To auto-scan and save available FM stations, press and hold the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
  3. Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons (short press) to switch between saved stations.

5. Hands-Free Calling:

  • When connected via Bluetooth to your phone, incoming calls will be routed through the speaker.
  • Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call.
  • Press the Play/Pause button again to end a call.
  • Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.

6. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing (Series 1+17):

This feature allows you to pair two HOPESTAR P7 speakers together for a true stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both speakers are turned off.
  2. Turn on both speakers. They should both be in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  3. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Mode (M) button. You will hear a prompt indicating it's searching for another speaker.
  4. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  5. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To preserve battery life, charge the speaker at least once every three months if not used regularly.

Troubleshooting
