Important Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packaging materials, including any tape or labels.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Clean: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for detailed cleaning instructions.
4. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Initial Water Fill: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.

Operating Instructions

Making Ice:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the MAX line.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice-making cycle. The Power indicator light will illuminate.
3. Press the SELECT button to choose your desired ice cube size: 'S' for small or 'L' for large. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
4. The ice maker will begin producing ice. The first few cycles may produce smaller or irregularly shaped ice cubes. This is normal.
5. When the ice basket is full, the "Ice Full" indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will pause operation. Remove ice from the basket to resume.
6. When the water level is low, the "Add Water" indicator light will illuminate. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice production.

Self-Cleaning Function:

The ice maker features a convenient self-cleaning function to maintain hygiene.

1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
2. Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX line.
3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning cycle. The "Clean" indicator light will illuminate.
4. The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 30 minutes.
5. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the unit by removing the drain plug located at the bottom.
6. Rinse the interior with clean water and drain again.

Storing Ice:

The ice maker is not a freezer. Ice cubes will melt if left in the basket for an extended period. Use the provided ice bags and scoop to transfer ice cubes to your freezer for long-term storage.

Maintenance

Regular Cleaning:

• Clean the interior of the ice maker regularly, especially if it is not used frequently.
• Use a soft cloth and mild detergent to wipe down surfaces.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing or reusing.

Draining Water:

Always drain any remaining water from the reservoir when the ice maker is not in use or before moving it. The drain plug is located at the bottom of the unit.

Storage:

When storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
