Operating Instructions
1. Scanning Modes
The scanner supports three scanning modes, which can be switched by scanning specific setup codes found in the full user manual.
- Trigger Scanning Mode: Scan barcodes by pressing the trigger button.
- Continuous Scanning Mode: The scanner continuously emits a scan line, ideal for high-volume scanning without pressing the trigger. This mode works well with the stand.
- Auto-sense Scanning Mode: The scanner automatically detects a barcode in its field of view and scans it. This mode also works well with the stand for hands-free operation.

2. Supported Barcode Types
The scanner is equipped with advanced CMOS technology to recognize a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes:
- 1D Barcodes: UPC/EAN, Code39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code93, Code 128, Codabar, etc.
- 2D Barcodes: QR, Datamatrix, PDF417, Aztec, MicroPDF417, Micro QR Code, MaxiCode, Rectangular Data Matrix, etc.

3. Reading Barcodes from Screens
The scanner can read 1D and 2D barcodes directly from digital displays, including:
- Smartphone screens
- Tablet screens
- Computer monitors

4. Editing Scanned Data
The scanner allows for customization of scanned data output by scanning specific setup codes. These functions include:
- Adding prefixes or suffixes to scanned data.
- Deleting characters from scanned data.
- Adding carriage returns (CR), line feeds (LF), or tabs (TAB).
- Changing character case (capital/lowercase).
5. Buzzer and LED Indicators
The scanner provides feedback for successful scans:
- A buzzer sounds upon a successful scan.
- An LED indicator illuminates to confirm a successful scan.
- The buzzer can be toggled on or off by scanning a specific setup code.
Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your barcode scanner, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the scanner's exterior. For the scanning window, use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: While the scanner features 1.5m anti-shock protection, avoid dropping or subjecting it to severe impacts to prevent damage.
