Installation Methods
The NS300 offers three versatile installation options to suit various environments:
- Countertop Mount: The most common setup, where the unit sits directly on your kitchen counter or coffee bar.
- Embedded Installation: For a seamless look, the unit can be integrated into a countertop. This requires cutting a suitable opening.
- Floor Standing Knock Box Installation: The unit can be mounted on a floor-standing knock box column for commercial or high-volume settings.

Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
The NS300 is designed for fast and simple operation:
- Ensure the unit is powered on.
- Gently snap your portafilter onto the brush head. The brush head will automatically activate.
- The coffee puck will be quickly and cleanly disposed of in approximately 3 seconds.
- Remove the portafilter, which is now ready for the next coffee preparation.

Safety Induction Device
The NS300 features a safety induction mode. When enabled, the brush head will only activate when a metal portafilter handle is in close proximity, preventing accidental touches. This mode can be turned off for compatibility with non-metal handles.

Brush Head Compatibility
The NS300 comes with three different types of brush heads to ensure compatibility with various espresso filter basket designs:
- Suitable for flat bottom bevel type portafilter basket.
- Suitable for curved bottom right angle portafilter basket.
- Suitable for flat bottom right angle portafilter basket.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your NS300. The unit features a detachable and washable inner tank for easy cleaning.
- Cleaning: The inner tank and brush heads are detachable and can be washed. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
- No Flushing Required: The design of the NS300 means there is no need for water flushing of the portafilter after use, saving time and reducing mess.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your NS300, consider the following common solutions:
- Unit Not Powering On: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the unit and a working power outlet.
- Brush Head Not Activating: Check if the safety induction mode is enabled. If so, ensure your portafilter handle is metal and in close proximity. Try disabling the safety sensor if using a non-metal handle.
- Ineffective Cleaning: Verify that the correct brush head is installed for your specific portafilter basket type. Ensure the portafilter is properly seated on the brush head.
- Unusual Noise: Check for any obstructions within the cleaning mechanism. Ensure the inner tank is correctly seated.
