Installation Guide
For optimal results, perform the installation in a clean, dust-free environment. Follow these steps carefully:
- Wash your hands: Ensure your hands are thoroughly clean to prevent transferring oils or dirt to the screen protector or device.
- Turn off your device: Power off your device completely before beginning the installation.
- Prepare mixture of water and some dishwashing detergent: Mix a small amount of dishwashing detergent with water in a clean bowl. This solution will aid in positioning the protector and removing bubbles.
- Wipe off device with soft dry cloth: Use the provided soft dry cloth to meticulously clean the device screen, removing any dust, smudges, or fingerprints.
- Wet your finger tips: Lightly wet your fingertips with the prepared water-detergent mixture. This prevents fingerprints on the adhesive side of the protector.
- Peel the IPG from backing: Carefully peel the IPG screen protector from its backing film. Avoid touching the adhesive side directly.
- Wet the adhesive side of the IPG with your finger tips: Gently wet the adhesive side of the screen protector with your wet fingertips. This allows for repositioning during application.
- Align the IPG to the device: Carefully align the screen protector with your device's screen. The wet application allows for minor adjustments.
- Use IPG installation card to squeegee out bubbles and water: Start from the center of the screen and gently push outwards towards the edges using the installation card. Ensure all bubbles and excess water are removed. Pay attention to avoid open ports.
- Use your palm for the corners. Hold the device in your palm for 1-2 mins. If it looks foggy do not panic. Let it dry for 12 hours: After squeegeeing, gently press down on the corners with your palm for a minute or two to help the edges adhere. It is normal for the screen to appear foggy or have small bubbles immediately after installation; these will disappear as the protector dries. Allow at least 12 hours for complete drying and adhesion.
