Setup Instructions

1. Placement

Choose a level surface for your fountain, ensuring it is stable and can support the weight of the fountain when filled with water. The fountain is designed for outdoor use but can also be placed indoors with proper precautions for water splashing.

2. Pump Installation and Water Filling

The fountain comes largely pre-assembled. The main step is to install the water pump and fill the reservoir.

1. Ensure the suction cups on the bottom of the pump are firmly attached to the center of the fountain's base, without touching the sides of the fountain.
2. Connect the pump's tubing to the water outlet inside the fountain.
3. Fill the fountain reservoir with clean water. The water pump should be fully submerged in water. It is preferable that the water level exceeds the pump by at least 2 inches to ensure optimal operation and prevent pump damage.

3. Power Connection

Connect the transformer to the fountain's power cable, then plug the transformer into a standard 110V~120V, 60HZ US electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected from water, especially for outdoor use.

Operating Instructions

1. Initial Start-up

Once plugged in, the pump will begin circulating water, and the LED lights will illuminate. Allow a few moments for the water to fully circulate through all tiers.

2. Adjusting Water Flow

The water pump typically has an adjustable flow rate. Refer to the pump's specific instructions for detailed adjustment. If water splashing occurs, turn the knob towards the "-" (minus) sign, to about 2/3 of its highest setting. If water flow is insufficient, turn the knob to the maximum setting.

3. LED Lighting

The warm yellow LED lights are integrated into the fountain and automatically illuminate when the fountain is powered on. They are designed to create a magical ambiance, especially during evening hours.

Maintenance

• Regular Water Level Check: Check the water level daily, especially in warm weather, as water evaporates. Ensure the pump remains fully submerged to prevent damage. Refill with distilled water to minimize mineral buildup.
• Cleaning: Periodically clean the fountain and pump to prevent algae buildup and mineral deposits. Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft brush and mild soap for the fountain surface. For the pump, disassemble and clean impellers and internal components as per pump manufacturer instructions.
• Winterization: In freezing climates, drain all water from the fountain and pump. Store the pump indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Cover the fountain or store it indoors to protect it from harsh winter conditions.
• Water Quality: If using tap water, consider using a water clarifier or algaecide to maintain water clarity and prevent algae growth.
