4.2. Step-by-Step Installation

1. Prepare the Door Panels: If necessary, cut the metal track to the required length. Measure and mark the positions for pilot holes on the door frame and door panels.
2. Install Hinges: Attach the panel hinges to the bifold door panels using the provided fasteners.
3. Install Top Pivots and Guide Wheels: Insert the guide wheel into a pre-drilled hole at the top of one door panel. Insert the top metal pivot into a pre-drilled hole at the top of the other door panel.
4. Install Bottom Pivots and Brackets: Insert the bottom pivot into a pre-drilled hole on the bottom edge of the door panel, corresponding to the top pivot. Measure and mark the position for the bottom bracket on the door jamb and floor. Screw the bottom bracket securely to the corresponding jamb and floor.
5. Install Top Track: Secure the metal track to the top of the door frame using appropriate fasteners.
6. Mount the Door: Insert the bottom and top pivots into their respective brackets.
7. Adjust Door Height: Adjust the height of the door by lifting the door panel and turning the threaded rod on the top bracket until the door is level and operates smoothly.
8. Install Door Aligner: Secure the door aligner (steel spring) into the track to ensure proper door alignment.
9. Install Wooden Knobs: Attach the wooden knobs to the door panels for ease of opening and closing.

5. Operating Instructions

To open the bifold door, gently pull the wooden knob towards you. The door panels will fold inward, allowing access to the closet. To close, push the door panels back into position until they are fully extended and aligned.

• Regular Cleaning: Keep the track free of dust and debris to ensure smooth operation. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the metal tracks and door surfaces.
• Lubrication: Periodically apply a silicone-based lubricant to the track and pivot points to maintain smooth gliding and reduce friction. Avoid oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust.
