5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection:

1. Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
2. Connect the provided AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the radio.
3. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.

5.2 Initial Scan (DAB/FM):

Upon first power-on, the radio may automatically perform a scan for available stations. If not, follow these steps:

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 DAB Radio Mode:

1. Press the Mode button until "DAB" is displayed.
2. Use the Tune/Select knob to scroll through the list of available DAB stations.
3. Press the Tune/Select knob to select a station.
4. To save a preset: Press and hold the Preset button. Use the Tune/Select knob to choose a preset number (1-30), then press to confirm.
5. To recall a preset: Briefly press the Preset button, then use the Tune/Select knob to select the desired preset and press to confirm.

6.2 FM Radio Mode:

1. Press the Mode button until "FM" is displayed.
2. To auto-scan: Press the Scan button. The radio will automatically find and stop at the next strong station.
3. To manually tune: Rotate the Tune/Select knob to adjust the frequency.
4. Saving and recalling FM presets works the same way as DAB presets (1-30).

6.3 Bluetooth Mode:

1. Press the Mode button until "Bluetooth" is displayed. The radio will enter pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for "MONODEAL Radio" in the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "MONODEAL Radio" to pair. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
4. You can now stream audio from your device to the radio.

6.4 USB Playback:

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
2. Press the Mode button until "USB" is displayed.
3. The radio will automatically start playing the first compatible audio file.

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
