Operating Instructions
Your safe offers two primary methods for opening:
1. Opening with Override Key
This method is primarily for initial access, battery replacement, or if you forget your code.
- Remove the override key cover located on the front panel.
- Insert the override key into the keyhole. Ensure it is fully inserted.
- Turn the key counter-clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
2. Opening with Personal/Master Code
This is the standard method for daily access.
- Enter your personal 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
- Press the 'E' button to confirm the code.
- If the code is correct, the indicator light will turn green. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
- If an incorrect code is entered, the indicator light will flash red. After three incorrect attempts, the alarm system may activate.

The safe can be opened using either the override keys or a personal/master code.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your safe:
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears or if the keypad becomes unresponsive. Always use new 'AA' alkaline batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.
- Keypad Care: Keep the keypad clean and free from dust or debris. Do not press the buttons with excessive force.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your safe, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
Safe Does Not Open with Code
- Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power. Replace them if necessary.
- Incorrect Code: Verify that you are entering the correct personal or master code. Press 'C' to clear any previous entry before re-entering the code.
- Keypad Lockout: If too many incorrect attempts are made, the keypad may temporarily lock. Wait a few minutes before trying again.
- Use Override Key: If all else fails, use the emergency override key to open the safe.
Alarm System Issues
- Accidental Trigger: Ensure the safe is not being moved or tampered with when the alarm is active.
- Low Battery: A low battery can sometimes cause erratic behavior, including false alarms. Replace batteries.
