  2. Install the Faucet:

    a. Place the rubber gasket (if provided) onto the bottom of the faucet body.

    b. Insert the faucet body through the mounting hole in the sink or countertop.

    c. From underneath the sink, slide the mounting washer and then the mounting nut onto the threaded shank of the faucet. Tighten the mounting nut securely with an adjustable wrench, ensuring the faucet is properly aligned.

  3. Connect Water Supply Lines:

    a. Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet body. Hand-tighten first, then use an adjustable wrench to tighten an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Do not overtighten.

    b. Connect the other ends of the supply lines to your hot and cold water shut-off valves. Use Teflon tape on the threaded connections of the shut-off valves for a watertight seal.

  4. Install Pop-Up Drain Assembly:

    a. Apply a bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside of the drain flange.

    b. Insert the drain flange into the drain opening of the sink.

    c. From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, then the friction washer, and finally the mounting nut onto the drain body. Tighten the mounting nut securely. Wipe away any excess plumber's putty or sealant.

    d. Connect the pivot rod to the pop-up stopper mechanism and the lift rod from the faucet. Adjust for proper operation.

  5. Test for Leaks:

    a. Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply.

    b. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks are present, tighten the connections slightly until the leak stops. Do not overtighten.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your faucet.

  • Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
  • Aerator Maintenance: If water flow decreases, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the end of the spout, clean any debris, and rinse thoroughly before reattaching.
  • Leak Prevention: Periodically check all connections for any signs of leaks and tighten if necessary.
