4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlets and outlets to allow for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near walls, furniture, or curtains that could obstruct ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Water Drainage Options:
- Water Tank (Default): The unit will collect water in the integrated 2-liter water tank. The dehumidifier will automatically shut off when the tank is full.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, attach the provided drain hose to the continuous drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is routed downwards to a suitable drain or container, allowing gravity to facilitate water flow.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Emptying the Water Tank
When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate. To empty:
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Carefully carry the tank to a sink or drain and empty the collected water.
- Rinse the tank with clean water if necessary and reinsert it firmly into the dehumidifier. Ensure it is correctly seated to resume operation.
