This dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity levels in indoor spaces up to 15 m², helping to prevent mold, mildew, and condensation. Its compact design and portability make it suitable for various rooms, including bedrooms, offices, and laundry areas.

4. Setup

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging materials and dispose of them responsibly.
  3. Inspect the appliance for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.

The dehumidifier measures approximately 20.5 cm (width) x 25.6 cm (depth) x 43 cm (height), making it suitable for small spaces and easy to store.

5. Operation

Powering On/Off:

Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the Power button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

Operating Modes:

The dehumidifier offers three operating modes to suit different needs:

The dehumidifier provides modes for continuous operation, automatic humidity control, and specific relative humidity settings.

Setting Desired Humidity:

In RH Mode, use the Humidity Setting buttons (usually Up/Down arrows) to adjust the target humidity level. The LED display will show the current room humidity and your set target.

24-Hour Timer:

The integrated 24-hour timer allows you to program the unit to turn on or off automatically after a set period (in 1-hour intervals). This feature is useful for energy saving and convenient operation.

The timer function allows you to schedule the dehumidifier to operate for a specific duration, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency.

Laundry Drying Function:

Utilize the Continuous Mode for efficient laundry drying. The powerful compressor and continuous operation help to dry clothes faster, reducing the need for heating or tumble dryers.

6. Water Drainage

Emptying the Water Tank:

The dehumidifier features a 2-liter water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate. To empty:

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
  2. Carefully carry the tank to a sink or drain.
  3. Empty the collected water.
  4. Slide the empty tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

Continuous Drainage:

For extended operation without manual tank emptying, you can set up continuous drainage using the included drain hose.

  1. Locate the continuous drain outlet on the back or side of the dehumidifier.
  2. Remove the rubber stopper (if present).
  3. Connect one end of the drain hose to the outlet, ensuring a secure fit.
  4. Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain point (e.g., a floor drain, large bucket, or sink). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage and is free from kinks.

7. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter (usually at the back or side of the unit).
  3. Gently vacuum any dust or debris from the filter. For heavier dirt, wash the filter with warm, soapy water.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
  5. Never operate the dehumidifier without the filter or with a wet filter.

If storing the dehumidifier for an extended period:

  1. Empty and clean the water tank.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing.
  4. Store the dehumidifier in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
