2. Key Features
- Dual-Signal Transmission: The WS2815 IC features signal break-point continuous transmission. If one LED pixel is damaged, the subsequent LEDs on the strip will continue to function, enhancing reliability. This is an upgrade from the WS2812B.
- Individually Addressable DC12V: Each 5050SMD LED contains a WS2815 IC, allowing individual control of color and brightness. Operates on DC12V, providing stable performance and preventing significant voltage drops over 16.4ft lengths.
- High-Quality Construction: LEDs are built with a copper bracket and 10 pure gold wires for improved durability and stable quality, ensuring a longer lifespan.
- Versatile Control: Includes a 2.4GHz RF remote (RB3) and a Bluetooth controller (SP630E) for app control via the BanlanX application.
- Multi-Zone Control: The RB3 RF remote supports up to 4 zones, allowing separate or unified control of multiple LED strips.
- Dynamic Lighting Effects: Offers 256 brightness levels and 24-bit color display. Supports static, chasing, and various special effects.
- Music Synchronization: Features 3 collection methods for music sync: mobile phone microphone, player streaming, and a built-in high-sensitivity microphone.
- App Functionality: The BanlanX app provides interfaces for static, dynamic, music, and DIY effects, along with customizable on/off animations and timing functions (up to 5 timers).

3. Package Contents
Please verify that all components are present in your package:
- 1 x RGB LED Strip (WS2815)
- 1 x Remote Control (RB3 RF Remote)
- 1 x Bluetooth Controller (SP630E)
Note: A DC12V power adapter is required and must be purchased separately.
4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Power Supply Requirements
The WS2815 LED strip operates on DC12V. It is crucial to use a compatible DC12V power supply. Do not attempt to use DC5V or DC24V power supplies, as this can damage the strip. A DC12V3A (36W) power adapter is recommended for optimal performance.

4.2 Wiring the LED Strip and Controller
The LED strip comes with a 4-pin male connector and separated power/ground wires on both ends for easy connection. Connect the LED strip to the SP630E Bluetooth controller. Ensure correct polarity for the power connections (VCC, GND).
- VCC: Connect to the positive (+) terminal of your DC12V power supply.
- GND: Connect to the negative (-) terminal of your DC12V power supply.
- DAT (Data): Connect to the data output of the SP630E controller.
- BO (Backup Data): The WS2815 includes a backup data line. Connect this to the appropriate backup data input on the controller if supported, or leave unconnected if not used.

4.3 Mounting the LED Strip
The method of mounting depends on the IP rating of your LED strip:
- IP30/IP65 Strips: These versions typically have adhesive tape on the back. Peel off the protective layer and firmly press the strip onto a clean, dry, and smooth surface.
- IP67 Strips: These strips do not have adhesive tape. Use the provided screws and clips to secure the strip to your desired location.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Using the RB3 RF Remote Control
The RB3 RF remote allows wireless control of your LED strip. It can control up to 4 zones independently or simultaneously. The remote has a range of up to 30 meters (98ft) in open spaces.
- Power On/Off: Use the dedicated buttons to turn the lights on or off.
- Color Selection: Use the color wheel to select desired colors.
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the brightness level using the designated controls.
- Zone Control: Select zones 1, 2, 3, or 4 to control specific groups of lights. The remote supports one-to-many control (one remote controls multiple controllers) and multi-to-one control (each controller can bind up to 5 RF remotes).

5.2 Using the BanlanX Bluetooth App
Download the BanlanX app from your mobile device's app store. Once installed, connect to the SP630E controller via Bluetooth.
- App Interfaces: The app offers four main operating interfaces: Static Effect, Dynamic Effect, Music Effect, and DIY.
- Static Effects: Select from a wide range of static colors and adjust brightness.
- Dynamic Effects: Choose from various pre-programmed dynamic patterns and adjust speed.
- Music Effects: Synchronize the lights with music using your mobile phone's microphone, player streaming, or the controller's built-in microphone.
- DIY Mode: Create and customize your own lighting effects.
- On/Off Animations & Power-On State: Configure custom animations for turning the lights on/off and set the desired state when power is restored.
- Timing Function: Set up to 5 timers to automatically turn the lights on or off at specific times.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your LED strip light kit, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring the strip is powered off and completely dry before re-energizing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the LED strip is used within its specified IP rating environment. For IP65 strips, they are protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. For IP67 strips, they are protected against dust and temporary immersion in water. Avoid exposing non-waterproof sections (like connectors or controllers) to moisture.
- Connection Checks: Periodically inspect all connections (power, data) to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion or damage.
7. Troubleshooting
- LED Strip Not Lighting Up:
- Ensure the DC12V power supply is correctly connected and functioning.
- Verify all wiring connections (VCC, GND, DAT) are secure and have correct polarity.
- Check if the controller is powered on and properly connected to the LED strip.
- Partial LED Strip Not Working:
- Due to the WS2815's dual-signal feature, if a single LED pixel is damaged, the rest of the strip should still function. If a section is out, check for physical damage or a loose connection at the beginning of the non-working section.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Ensure the remote has fresh batteries.
- Verify there are no obstructions between the remote and the controller.
- Re-pair the remote with the controller if necessary (refer to controller specific instructions for pairing).
- Bluetooth App Connectivity Issues:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Make sure the controller is within Bluetooth range.
- Restart the BanlanX app and try reconnecting.
- Ensure no other device is currently connected to the controller via Bluetooth.
