3. Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your robotic pool cleaner:

  1. Install the Direction Controller: Attach the blue tail fin (direction controller) to the designated screw port on the top of the cleaner. Use a screwdriver to secure it firmly.
  2. Install Scrapers (Optional): If your pool has many folds or wrinkles in the liner, you may choose to leave the scrapers in place for better cleaning performance. Otherwise, they can be removed.
  3. Check the Filter Mesh: Ensure the fine filter mesh is properly installed inside the cleaner's base. The cleaner is designed with two covers to prevent debris from flowing back into the pool.

4. Operating Instructions

Operating your PoolMr Robotic Pool Cleaner is straightforward:

  1. Power On: Locate the power button on the underside of the cleaner. Press the button to activate the device.
  2. Placement in Pool: Gently lower the cleaner into the pool. It will begin to fill with water and sink to the bottom. Ensure it remains upright during submersion. The cleaner will acclimate for a few minutes before starting its cleaning cycle.
  3. Cleaning Cycle: The cleaner will autonomously navigate the pool floor, moving forwards, backwards, and side-to-side to ensure comprehensive coverage. Its smart route technology allows for quick reversal upon touching pool walls, preventing damage.
  4. Self-Parking: Once the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery charge is low, the cleaner will automatically move to the nearest pool wall for easy retrieval.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your PoolMr Robotic Pool Cleaner:

  1. Retrieval: Use the provided hook (attached to a standard pool pole) to retrieve the cleaner from the pool. It is recommended to pull it out slowly and keep it level to prevent debris from re-entering the pool.
  2. Emptying Debris: Unclip the side latches to open the cleaner's top cover. Carefully remove the fine filter mesh.
  3. Cleaning the Filter and Unit: Rinse the filter mesh thoroughly with a garden hose to remove all collected debris, including fine particles like sand and pollen. Also, rinse the interior of the cleaner unit to ensure all contaminants are removed.
  4. Reassembly and Storage: Once clean and dry, reassemble the filter mesh and top cover, ensuring all clips are securely fastened. Store the cleaner in a cool, dry place.
  5. Charging: Charge the unit after each use to ensure it's ready for the next cleaning cycle. The charging port is located on the underside of the cleaner.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PoolMr Robotic Pool Cleaner, consider the following common solutions:

  • Cleaner not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check the power button for proper engagement.
  • Reduced suction or poor cleaning: The filter mesh may be clogged. Clean the filter thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure no large debris is obstructing the suction ports.
  • Cleaner not moving or getting stuck: Check for any large obstructions in the pool. Ensure the wheels are free from debris. The smart route technology should prevent frequent sticking, but manual repositioning may be needed in complex pool shapes.
  • Battery not holding charge: Ensure the charging adapter is correctly connected and the charging port is dry. If issues persist, contact customer support.
