4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Power-Up and Connections
- Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack on the Matribox II.
- Connect the OUTPUT (L/MONO) jack of the Matribox II to your amplifier's input or a mixer/audio interface.
- Connect the included 9V DC power adapter to the DC 9V input on the Matribox II and then to a power outlet.
- Power on your amplifier and the Matribox II.
4.2 Connecting the Dual Foot Switch
The Dual Foot Switch connects to the Matribox II via a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) cable. An 80cm TRS cable is included for this purpose.

- Locate the EXP 2/FS jack on the Matribox II.
- Connect one end of the TRS cable to the TRS jack on the Dual Foot Switch.
- Connect the other end of the TRS cable to the EXP 2/FS jack on the Matribox II.
The Dual Foot Switch operates passively and does not require a separate power supply. Its design ensures reliable performance without additional power connections.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Navigation and Preset Selection
The Matribox II features a clear display and intuitive controls for navigating through presets and adjusting parameters. Use the main rotary encoder and push buttons to select and modify settings.
- Preset Selection: Rotate the main encoder to scroll through available presets. Press the encoder to confirm selection.
