4. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
Placement: Place the brewer on a clean, dry, and level surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation.
Initial Cleaning: Before first use, perform a cleaning cycle. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX line (16oz). Place an empty mug on the drip tray. Close the brew head. Press the 'HOT BREW' button to run a cycle without any coffee or tea. Discard the water. Repeat this process once more.

5.1. General Brewing Steps

Add Water: Open the water reservoir lid and pour fresh, cold water into the reservoir. The water level indicator on the side shows measurements from 6oz to 16oz. Only add the desired amount of water for your brew, as the machine will brew all water added.

Insert Brewing Accessory: Open the brew head. Select the appropriate accessory (K-Cup Pod Holder, Ground Coffee Basket, or Tea Holder) and insert it into the brew chamber.
Add Ingredients:
- For K-Cup Pods: Place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup Pod Holder.

Select Brew Style: Press the desired button on the control panel: 'HOT BREW', 'BOLD', 'OVER ICE', or 'ICED TEA'.
Brewing: The brewer will begin the brewing process. This typically takes 2-4 minutes.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your brewer.

6.1. Daily Cleaning

Drip Tray: The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning. Empty and rinse it after each use.
Brewing Accessories: After each use, remove and rinse the K-Cup Pod Holder, Ground Coffee Basket, or Tea Holder under running water. These are top-rack dishwasher safe.
Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the brewer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

6.2. Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits (scale) can build up in your brewer, affecting performance. The 'DESCALE' light will illuminate red when descaling is recommended.

Prepare Descaling Solution: Mix 10oz of white vinegar with 6oz of water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.

7. Troubleshooting
