Setup
1. Physical Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned OFF at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
The switch is designed for recessed installation in a standard wall box. The product dimensions are 8.6 cm x 8.6 cm, with a depth of 2.7 cm. The wall box should have a minimum depth of 35 mm and a diameter of 60 mm for proper fitting.

Image: Product dimensions of the CNBINGO smart switch, showing a front view of 86mm x 86mm and a side view with a depth of 27mm. Below, diagrams illustrate suitable wall box dimensions (minimum 35mm depth, 60mm diameter) and an unsuitable shallow box.
Wiring Instructions
The switch supports two types of wiring: with a neutral wire or without a neutral wire. Refer to the diagram below for correct connections.

Image: Two wiring diagrams for the smart switch. The left diagram illustrates wiring without a neutral wire, showing the Live Wire (red) connected to L1, L2, L3 terminals, and the Neutral Wire (blue) connected to the N terminal. An adapter is shown connected to the L1 lamp. The right diagram shows wiring with a neutral wire, where the Live Wire (red) connects to L1, L2, L3, and the Neutral Wire (blue) connects to the N terminal, with no adapter required. A warning states that the adapter must be connected to both ends of the L1 bulb regardless of the product purchased.
- Wiring with Neutral Wire: Connect the Live wire to the 'L' terminal, the Neutral wire to the 'N' terminal, and the load wires (to your lights) to 'L1', 'L2', 'L3' as appropriate for each gang. No capacitor is needed.
- Wiring without Neutral Wire: Connect the Live wire to the 'L' terminal and the load wires to 'L1', 'L2', 'L3'. A capacitor must be connected across the L1 lamp (between the Live and Load wires of the L1 circuit) to ensure stable operation.
After wiring, secure the switch into the wall box using the provided screws. Reattach the faceplate.
2. App Pairing
To enable smart features, you need to pair the switch with the Smart Life or Tuya app.
- Download the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register or log in to your account.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The switch does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
- Turn on the power to the switch at the circuit breaker. The switch's LED indicator should blink rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, press and hold one of the touch buttons for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
- In the app, tap the '+' icon to add a device. Select 'Light Switch' or 'Wall Switch' from the device list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the switch to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to confirm the blinking status of the LED.
- Once successfully paired, you can rename the switch and assign it to a room within the app.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Touch Control
Each gang on the switch has a touch-sensitive area. Simply tap the area to turn the connected light ON or OFF.
2. Voice Control
The CNBINGO Smart Switch is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for hands-free control.

Image: A woman is mopping a kitchen floor. On the wall, a black CNBINGO smart switch is visible. On the floor, an Amazon Echo Dot is shown. A speech bubble indicates the Echo Dot responding with "OK" to a voice command, implying successful voice control of the light switch.
- Connecting to Voice Assistants: After pairing the switch with the Smart Life/Tuya app, open the Alexa or Google Home app. Enable the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' skill/service and link your account.
- Voice Commands: Use commands such as:
- "Alexa, turn on [Light Name]"
- "Hey Google, turn off [Light Name]"
- "Alexa, set [Light Name] to 50%" (if connected to a dimmable bulb and supported by the switch)
3. App Control (Remote, Scheduling, Multi-Control)
The Smart Life/Tuya app provides comprehensive control over your smart switch from anywhere with an internet connection.

- Remote Control: Turn lights ON/OFF from anywhere using the app.
- Scheduling and Timer: Set schedules for your lights to turn ON/OFF automatically at specific times, or create countdown timers.
- Multi-Control: Link multiple smart switches within the app to control a single light from various locations, simulating a 2-way or 3-way switch setup.
- Scene Creation: Create custom scenes to activate multiple devices with a single command or tap.
- Family Sharing: Share control of the smart switch with family members through the app.

A smartphone displays the Smart Life app, illustrating how multiple switches can be linked to control one light simultaneously, effectively creating a virtual 2-way switch setup.
4. Blue LED Backlight
The switch features a subtle blue LED backlight that indicates its position in the dark, making it easy to locate at night.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the switch, gently wipe the glass panel with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Smart Life/Tuya app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshooting: If the switch is not responding, try restarting it by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for a few seconds and then turning it back on.
Troubleshooting
- Switch not responding to touch: Ensure power is supplied to the switch. If the LED indicator is off, check the circuit breaker. If the LED is on but unresponsive, try a power cycle (turn off/on at breaker).
- Cannot connect to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. 5 GHz networks are not supported.
- Check that your Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Move your router closer to the switch or ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Reset the switch to pairing mode (LED blinks rapidly) and try pairing again.
- Lights flicker or do not turn off completely (without neutral wire): Ensure the capacitor is correctly installed across the L1 lamp. This is crucial for stable operation in non-neutral wire setups.
- Voice control not working:
- Verify that the Smart Life/Tuya skill is enabled in your Alexa/Google Home app and linked to your account.
- Ensure the device name in the Smart Life/Tuya app matches the name you are using for voice commands.
- Check your internet connection.
- Multi-control not functioning: Ensure all switches intended for multi-control are correctly linked within the Smart Life/Tuya app.
