Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Oster Air Fryer Oven.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the oven from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Crumb Tray: The crumb tray should be removed and cleaned regularly to prevent the buildup of crumbs, which can cause a fire hazard. Slide out the tray, discard crumbs, and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing.
- Accessories: Wash the wire rack, baking pan, and air fryer mesh rack with warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak them in hot soapy water before scrubbing. These accessories are generally not dishwasher safe unless specified in the full product manual.
- Interior: Wipe the interior walls of the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they can damage the non-stick coating (if applicable) or surfaces. For baked-on food, a paste of baking soda and water can be applied, left for a few minutes, then wiped clean.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes.
- Glass Door: Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the oven is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
